Wellness
“The young physician should look about early for a vocation, a pastime, that will take him [her/they] away from patients, pills, and potions.”
Becoming a complete physician means more than just having a wealth of medical knowledge and good skills interacting with the patient and team. A complete physician must be able to care for themselves, their loved ones, and their patients. I am passionate about making sure young physicians learn this.

A Culture of Respect and Support
We actively cultivate a culture of respect and support where every resident feels valued and has a sense of belonging, regardless of background. These skills are essential not only for a positive learning environment during residency but also for building a successful and fulfilling medical career. Providing high-quality patient care requires the ability to connect with and understand individuals from all backgrounds. This commitment aligns with Northern Westchester Hospital and Northwell Health’s broader missions to create an environment of respect and belonging for all.
